HAHA overratted..that was when MJ was like what? 38? and mj was still pretty much JUST as good as Kobe in his first year with the wizards, b4 he got injured..he averaged 22ppg 5.5apg and 6.4 rpg…b4 he ron artest broke his ribs…even artest said”Michael would have been mvp had i not broken his ribs accidentally.” why? because he and the wiz where doing great b4 the injury buddy!
overratted…so the stats lie now? y can’y u just accept that mj was pretty much just as good as kobe in his first year as a wizard..and on his way 2 being the mvp had he not gotten injured?

want more proof..espn had named MICHAEL JORDAN the mvp of the first half of the season when they did their whole “half season awards thingy”. The wizards where doing great..and so was mj..and YES he would have won mvp had no injury come in the way…at FREAKKINN 38 YEARS OLDD!!! When kobe turns 38 and is still in consideration for mvp..then come back and ONLY THEN can we have a debate, son.

mj was not overratted….EVEN is he WAS overrratted(which he is not) he’s still the BEST EVER!!! no1 was at his level…overratted…explain this 2 me…was mj not playing against defenses that were allowed 2 use hand checks and shoves 2 try and stop the other player..and STILL shot better fg % than Kobe did against the SOFT defense of 2day?(mj shot near 50% EVERY YEAR!) Kobe only shoots around 45%!

i’m sorry overratted, what happened when Kobe’s HUGE ego got in the way of himn and shaq being dominant 2hether, he had the team ALL 2 himself, “he kept his team above .500″ WHAT????? buddy, the team ONLY won 34 games!!! and thats with kobe “leading” the team! he only scored 27 points a game while shooting a measly 43% from the floor. And that was with Lamar Odom, Brian Grant at centre(BEFORE they had Kwame Brown), who by the way was MUCH better than Kwame is, and CARON BUTLER(who is now an ALL-STAR AFTER playing with Kobe bryant DESPITE playing with 2 OTHER all-stars on his team, just shows how many shots Kobe took). HA and u say kobe always kept his team above .500? buddy, where do u get your facts from?
look man..i’m not saying Kobe isn’t great, infact i ALWAYS aknowledge him as THE best player in the L 2day and THE CLOSEST thing 2 mj SINCE mj himself…i’m kinda a Kobe fan actually..i like his style..but he’s no MJ..thats all i’m trying 2 prove..it just irritates me when ppl compare the 2 and then they even have the nerve 2 say that Kobe’s better..i mean, even Kobe said..he’s no mj. end of discussion.

I just want a belt buckle and maybe the red jacket! I already have enough shirts… like 23 MJ shirts to be exact! so are you going to buy!
The thing is though alll the kids at my school are going to all of the sudden become major MJ fans and buy alll the stuff and that will be really annoying when they dont ever care about the guy… they just want to look cool…. I dislike the kids at my school…. ALOT.

I have to say that the lack of internet, sports radio, and sports blogs must have helped him.
