Is it worth to upgrade the Ubuntu 8.04 (Heron) to the latest 9.04 (Jackalope) on my Dell Mini 9 Netbook?
Are there key differences that make this upgrade beneficial?

Ubuntu 8.04 benefits from Long Term Support. Ubuntu 9.04 is mega stable and runs considerably faster but is only supported for eighteen months https://wiki.ubuntu.com/JauntyJackalope/TechnicalOverview
A rolling upgrade from 8.04LTS to 9.04 is not possible at least not directly. You would need to upgrade 8.04LTS to 8.10 then 8.10 to 9.04 which would be a tedious process and one I would not recommend. A fresh installation is the best way forward.

Jackalope’s Restaurant Myrtle Beach South Carolina?
On a recent vaction to Myrtle Beach we ate ate Jackalope‘s. There were a total of 8 of us. Two of the meals were really bad, two so so and four were good. When we tried to talk to the idiot manager he accused us of trying to get free meals and didn’t know what good food was, after all his cook was trained and we weren’t.
Anybody have similar experience?

U can download gnomad2…..open terminal and type……
“sudo apt-get install gnomad2″….then u can run it from terminal using “gksu gnomad2″

Kubuntu not Ubuntu. I want to burn it to a disk using Nero and then install it to my computer. Thanks in advance!

You can download Kubuntu Jaunty Jackalope from the Kubuntu site itself. Just visit http://www.kubuntu.org/getkubuntu/download and choose your version to download the OS as an iso. The download page itself goes to the main ubuntu site, but the file is for Kubuntu.
